The way I see the light...
Hi! Welcome to my photoblog. My name is Gianluca Gandini and I was born in Rome in 1969. I am an Electronic Engineer, but I work inside web graphic design since 2001. I have started to take pictures in 80's with a simple and solid Minolta SRT-101. At that time I was used to prints. Suddenly I moved to color slide, and my camera became a Canon AE1-program. With that I have rendered almost all of my life and filled almost all of my drawers with a bunch of gray tanks. Those works aren't displayed here, maybe one day... After a brief encounter (not so brief...) with video editing, I have turned the page, changing to digital imaging with a Nikon D80, and now with D300. Actually the works showed here came from an year of shooting with this reflex camera. Photography is my real passion, and sometimes it's involved inside my work. My portfolio is located @ grafingegno.com
As a rule of thumb, I like to retouch a picture the less I can, just to increase the color vibrancy a bit, so the works you can find here are really the way I saw the light... Enjoy!
